Here’s What I’d Do If I Were The CEO of Apple (AAPL)

After yesterday’s RECORD/EARTH-SHATTERING Bond Auction, Apple (AAPL) has officially transitioned from a Growth Company to a Value Company. Though many of us never thought we’d see this day in our lifetimes, what happened yesterday just goes to show how fast things can change. Just couple months ago, everyone was talking about AAPL 1000; fast-forward to the present, and the analysts on Wall Street are either scrambling to downgrade AAPL or lower their price targets. So WTF changed from Sept. 2012 to Present? The simple answer is, Perception. No matter what anyone else says, Steve Jobs was APPLE. After his death, AAPL has become merely a ticker symbol, that institutional investors use to hedge their massive positions. AAPL has lost its touch. AAPL has become complacent. If AAPL wants to survive, AAPL needs to start innovating again. AAPL needs to expand its product offerings. And more importantly, AAPL needs to re-consider Tim Cook as its CEO.

If I were the CEO of Apple, I’d look at expanding AAPL’s product offerings from mobile devices to large scale industrial devices. The ones that aid the process of manufacturing. Software Based Solutions. 3D printing would be a good start. AAPL has the technology and the resources; it just need to rediscover its passion.

I’d also look into buying/acquiring a wounded competitor like Research In Motion (BBRY), and leverage their technology to improve upon iOS. Plus, I’d work with Google instead of working against them. The whole iPhone Mapgate was a fu*kin embarrassment for AAPL. Why The F*ck would you want to change something that already works. Incorporating some of the features of Android into iOS would make the iPhone basically INDESTRUCTIBLE.

I’d also create a subsidiary that would make low-cost/cheaper versions of iPhone, MacBooks, etc… and market these versions to the developing world.

The point is: TIM COOK NEEDS TO BE FIRED !!!
